Copper CladdingOn a bustling city centre road, your attention is drawn to this uniquely striking, copper clad building comprising a five-storey block and 8 storey oval tower. Kingsley Hard Metals were appointed by the Main Contractor to carry out cladding remediation works to the whole external façade. Our works included:
- Removal and reinstatement of 1880sqm copper cladding and combustible build-up materials and replacement with non-combustible alternatives.
- Removal of High-Pressure Laminate panels & decorative timber panels (730sqm) and replacement with aesthetically similar, non-combustible stone wool & fibre-reinforced cement plank alternatives.
This mixed-use building was live at all times during the works. Scrupulous tidiness on site and careful planning minimised disruption to residents and businesses.
